There are many programs that members of the Vicksburg-Warren County Chamber of Commerce can benefit from.
Business After Hours
As a member you can host a "Business After Hours" reception at your place of business. The Chamber will mail out invitations to the entire Chamber membership. This is a great opportunity to showcase your business and it provides an excellent networking opportunity.
Business Counseling
Do you occasionally need help and/or advise on your business operations? We can help! The Vicksburg-Warren County Chamber of Commerce is in partnership with the Greater Jackson Area SCORE Chapter. A member of the SCORE Chapter (Service Corp of Retired Executives) can meet with you to solve any issues you may have - recording keeping, marketing, etc. In addition the Chamber's partnership with the Hinds Small Business Development Center is available to help you get your new and start-up business off to its best possible start. The Chamber and HSBD provide counseling such as creating a business plan, what your banker wants, accounting, getting the most of your advertising dollars and developing cash flow and financial statements.
Chamber Luncheons
Monthly Chamber luncheons are offered on community interest topics: Legislative Updates, City and County Government and Education issues and a variety of community interest topics. Join us for these monthly updates, ask questions and stay abreast of what's happening in your community.
Committee Participation
Have a voice in your community! Serve on a committee of your choice that addresses the quality of life issues in Vicksburg & Warren County. A good quality of life in a community maintains and attracts more residents and businesses. Quality of life affects everyone - get involved.
Grand Openings & Ribbon Cuttings
If you are a new business or you have a new product line or location, the Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors will conduct a grand opening or ribbon cutting for you. Ambassadors are volunteers from different businesses in the area who act as the public relations arm of the Chamber of Commerce.
Leadership Vicksburg
Leadership Vicksburg is committed to providing leaders with a deeper understanding of the critical issues affecting Vicksburg and Warren County in an environment that develops individual leadership skills and encourages graduates to take their knowledge and experience into their workplace, their community and their home. Seminars & Workshops
Business seminars and workshops are offered that address issues to enhance the operation of your business. Most seminars and workshops are offered FREE to Chamber members, or for a nominal fee in instructor fees are required.
